OUR ORDINANCES
As a Bible-believing church, we practice every tenet of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We are resolute in our doctrine and strictly adhere to what the Word of God teaches, making us one of the best churches of our time. Some of our unwavering ordinances which have served as a foundation for us over the years include quality worship and praise, belief in the Word, prayer, communion and tokens.
PRAISE & WORSHIP
It is part of our core vision to bring people into the presence of God through praise and worship. Over the years, we have distinguished ourselves in this area. Jesus taught on true worship as the worship which is borne from the spirit.“God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”John 4:24. The atmosphere of worship we create immediately you enter into our services help you connect to the spiritual. Worship is a spontaneous response to God’s goodness in your life. We believe that worship is also the fruit of our lips and hands. We express this in our songs and the gifts of our hands (sacrifices).
WE BELIEVE IN THE GOSPEL
The gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ covered every aspect of life. Jesus portrayed the Father as one who is interested in all the affairs of our lives, therefore His teachings covered salvation, righteousness, holiness, success in life and in profession, the prosperity of our soul and of our hands, covenants blessings, true worship, sacrifice and the kingdom of God. As a church, we preach messages that are relevant to the physical and spiritual needs of the people. Our preaching offers you spiritual, professional, psychological and emotional healing.Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. 3 John 1:2.
WE ARE A PRAYING CHURCH
Bible Way Evangelistic Tabernacle of Jesus is a praying church. Prayer is an integral part of our worship to God. Prayer is one of the surest ways we connect to God and the supernatural. Due to this, we have several programs and services which give members opportunities to pray.
They include Thursday morning prayer session which is a prayer and a deliverance service, Friday night warfare service, prayer and fasting / revival (held periodically). You must take advantage of this to improve your prayer life as a member of this great family.
WE BELIEVE IN COMMUNION
In Bible Way Evangelistic Tabernacle of Jesus, we celebrate the communion and other biblical “tokens”. Our communion services make use of the elements of the blood and the body(Matthew 26:26-27). The communion services are special services where we celebrate the power of the “blood” and the “body”. We believe it is our spiritual mandate to renew the covenant of blood through the communion regularly (Luke 22:19).
